These are my top three items for instant style. Always make these an investment piece.
Sunglasses- Your sunglasses provide immediate visual impact and deliver an attitude like no other accessory can. Select a striking pair that embody your personal sense of style. Always invest in quality, not only for the UV protection. Framing your face perfectly and finding those pairs that set off your best features is crucial.
Bag- It doesn't matter what you are wearing, if you don't have the right bag, it can let the whole look down! Your bag is representing you. Invest in the bag that is the right fit for all aspects of your lifestyle and make it a statement piece.
Shoes- Protect your feet (and your reputation) by investing in the best quality footwear you can afford. It's never a good look to hobble to. your destination so be certain your walk isn't compromised by the footwear you have selected. Don't opt for cheaper 'leather-look' option either they can always be identified, they won't last and will damage your image. Your shoes should always be the correct statement for the outfit and look you are wearing. You need a pair of shoes for all of your categories.
Single concept dressing
Successful styling is bringing all the pieces of the puzzle together to tell a story. To achieve a look, use dressing to deliver a head-to-toe concept, where all the components are working together communicate a single theme and commit to it wholly; clear and uncomplicated.
How to be chic
Looking chic is looking comfortable. It doesn't matter how much good fashion you load yourself up with, if you look awkward, your style will be lost. Being chic is to be effortless. Put your hands into your pockets, own your look, and move comfortably inside your outfit.
